Blackjack is perhaps the only game of chance that is beatable by a player's skill. and not luck. You can't be a chump who loses all his money all at once, can you? It is a game of memory, calculations, alertness, and progressive play.

There are many professionals who learned the game of blackjack over the years, and they've developed various strategies for the Hkpools. Here are some of the basic strategies that professional blackjack players use for the game.

  1. Basic Strategy. The first step for the beginner is to learn basic strategy. There are various ways to play blackjack depending on the number of decks the game is played with, but the majority of the game is played with eight decks. When playing with fewer decks, some blackjack variations may be more difficult to win, but you can find a strategy chart with the number of decks in the game. Look for a blackjack chart when you buy the game, or keep one with you while playing. Chances are, the house will have a chart available. If you can't find one, ask your friendly dealer if they have one.
  2. Knowing When to HIT. As in any game, the house has a house advantage. That is, the odds are usually in their favor. Therefore, if the current game has 40 numbered cards and you have a hand worth 20, the odds are against you. Therefore, you need to discount a large number of cards. To further stretch your odds, consider playing a hand that contains two aces, since you have the possibility of a Blackjack. However, this is not always practical, and not always recommended. Watch the cards being dealt, andColumn A displays the number of cards in the discard pile.
  3. Knowing When to STAY. If you have 16, and the dealer has 9 showing, this is a situation where you should stay. If you have 15 and the dealer has a 10 showing, stay. Face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10 points, so that's the most important cards to keep. If you have 14, and the dealer has a 9 showing, but you have a Blackjack… stay. Whatever you have, you need to have 20.
  4. Keeping Records Of Your Play. Keeps records of every game you play. Yours is not a public record, but other players may be keeping records of yours, and this creates a problem if you play without a tracking program. With tracking software, you'll be able to see where you stand both before and after the shuffle. It is very important to analyze the trends after analyzing the cards.
  5. Knowing When To Double Down. If you have 9 and the dealer has a 10 showing, it is a good idea to hit. If you have 10 and the dealer has a 9 showing, hit. It is very important to remember what decisions to double down in blackjack. For example, if you have 9 and the dealer is showing 2, double down on 10, 11, and 12. If you have 10 and the dealer is showing 1, you should double down on 10. Following these trends is a great strategy, but it's your own private policy on Double down after 14.
  6. Know When Not To Double Down. If you have 15 and the dealer has a 3 showing, it is not a good idea to double down. It is a strong hand, but not the most powerful. If you have 16 and the dealer is showing a 10 or picture card, you will probably lose if you double down. Remember to stand on 17 against the dealer's 2 unless you already have an Ace.
  7. Save The House Advantage. Besides a huge house advantage for decisions to double down without taking insurance, the worst thing you can do is to double down when the odds are against you. Stick to the strategies that increase your house advantage.
  8. Save Your Bankroll. Remember to both play with and understand the odds. Play conservatively when you have a bad hand, and don't make the mistake of playing with a house advantage. Save your money for the payouts.
  9. Double Down if the Dealer's Up Card is 9 or 10.
